We are pleased to announce the 10'th Annual Tcl/Tk conference (Tcl'2003), sponsored by Noumena Corporation , in cooperation with ActiveState, Usenix and IEEE SouthEast Michigan Computer Chapter, and Washtenaw Community College, with logistics support from ExpoTech.

Come to the 10'th Tcl/Tk Conference to:

The conference program will include paper presentations, tutorials, Birds of a Feather (BOF) sessions and invited key-note talks. This call invites you to submit extended abstracts to be considered for the conference program. The conference schedule will consist of 2 days of tutorials (Monday - Tuesday) and 3 days for the main conference (Wednesday - Friday).

Tutorials

Tcl'2003 will include 3 full days of tutorials ranging from an Introduction to Tcl/Tk to advanced topics like multithreading, using the "C" API, and developing applications with Starkits, Starpacks and Metakit.

We're happy to have Ken Jones (co-author of the fourth edition of Practical Programming in Tcl/Tk), Clif Flynt (author of Tcl/Tk: A Developer's Guide), and Steve Landers (co-developer of TclKit, StarKit and CriTcl) as instructors.

Other Forms of Participation

If you've done work you'd like to show off, or have a topic you'd like to discuss with others, Tcl'2003 is providing time for WIP (Work-In-Progress) and BOF (Birds-Of-a-Feather) sessions.

Slots for WIP presentations and BOFs are available on a first-come, first-served basis by sending email to tcl2003@tcl.tk. A few WIP and BOF time slots will be held open for on-site reservation.
